Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 : Welcome to Kathmandu!
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), you’ll be greeted by our friendly Nepal Adventure Travel (NAT) team, who will assist you with your luggage and drive you to your hotel.
Once you’ve settled in, you can relax at your hotel, or head-out to feel this bustling city. It is an old city filled with colorful sights, studded temples, narrow lanes, winding streets, charming markets and friendly locals.
In the evening, you can enjoy the delicious local cuisine and discuss about your trip from Kathmandu to Chitwan.
Overall, the first day in Kathmandu is a chance to settle in and get a feel for the city, while enjoying the warm hospitality and vibrant culture of Nepal.

Day 2 : Drive to Chitwan
The journey takes about 5/6 hours. We’ll drive through the Prithvi Highway, following the Trishuli river through beautiful Himalayan foothills, terraced farmlands, villages in steep slopes valley and small settlements. On clear days, we can see stunning views of the snow-capped Himalayas from the windows.
You can enjoy a couple of comfort breaks en route, including an early lunch at a roadside restaurant. After 3/4 hours, we reach Mugling then turns south following the Narayani river towards the plain lands of Chitwan.
After checking in at our lodge accommodation, we have a short briefing before heading off for the first of your jungle activities which may be by jeep, on foot, or by boat.
In the evening, we can enjoy a nice meal from the Tharu kitchen before settling in for the night.

Day 03 : Jungle Safari
Our day starts with an early wake-up call. Take a sip of tea/coffee and get ready for an exciting wildlife adventure. Our jungle guides, dressed in jungle camouflage holding long sticks, will be waiting outside for us.
These experienced naturalist guides will lead us on jungle walks, elephant rides, river safaris, and jeep safaris. Joining them, we’ll have an excellent chance to see variety of wildlife up close and personal. Perhaps you can spot one-horned rhinos, monkeys, deer, birds, crocodiles and, with luck, leopard, sloth bear or a royal Bengal tiger.
Don’t worry about the logistics – just follow the jungle guide. Everything is well managed so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the adventure. Make sure to have your cameras ready to capture all the amazing wildlife that you’ll encounter on this jungle safari exploration!
After a full day of wildlife viewing, you spend your final night followed by a traditional Tharu Cultural Dance Performance.

Day 4 : After lunch, fly back to Kathmandu
After lunch, we board the flight back to Kathmandu. After checking in at our hotel, there should be a couple of hours to free for sightseeing or shopping around the city. This evening we will have a celebratory meal and reflect our journery.

Day 5 : Depart Kathmandu
Your comfort Nepal trip ends after breakfast. Airport transfers are included on this day.
Depending upon your departure flight, you can join a morning yoga session or learn to cook momos. It’s totally up to you!
